In case you were wondering...

With the boys I spent money or was gifted expensive bottles.  And after Luke, I gave them all away because they were before the BPA free revolution, and Luke had destroyed the nipples with his teeth.  With Caroline I started restocking up on $9 a piece bottles, then because of the whole NICU experience returned them all and got the $1 a piece BPA free gerber bottles.  I have probably spent a total of $9 on my entire bottle stock and they have been awesome for Caroline.  So, give them a try instead of going straight for the expensive option - you could be pleasantly surpized!
