Swim

The boys are still in swim lessons and I am so excited for the weather to warm up so we can get in our pool! I'm expecting mighty things out of both boys this summer. Luke loves swimming between the castles, and really doesn't need encouragement to do so. He's accepted that if he's going to move in the water his head is going to be under. He honestly believes that that's the only option there is. (Like the car seat in a car). Even if moving between John and I at home he'll swim underwater to make the pass.

What Luke does not like, however, is floating on his back. Here he is about to come up after making the roll from swimming to floating. I love this picture because his hands are already behind his head - he's in the perfect back float 2 inches below the water.

ahh... he made it to the top.

Joshua is doing awesome and loves diving off this big floating board.

He's swimming underwater, then rolling over to his back and kicking on his back, then turning back to his belly. Like Luke, he doesn't love the back part and would rather go without the breaths. He is a master negotiator with his teacher and she's had to make the no talking rule so he doesn't try and negotiate everything she wants him to do.

And of course both boys love the reward of kicking on a kick board after all their hard work!

That is so great! They are doing so well - expecially Luke for being so little! You should be a very proud Momma!!! Great pictures too! I can see the scrapbook page already!
